Discover Scuba Diving

Discover Scuba Diving in Maafushi is a beginner-friendly experience designed for guests who want to try scuba diving for the first time. No previous diving experience or certification is required.

You will be guided by professional dive instructors throughout the activity, with safety support and equipment provided. Swimming ability is not required, making this a suitable introduction for first-time divers who want to experience the underwater world in a controlled and guided way.

The dive is usually conducted at Bahthi Giri, also known as Coral Garden, depending on ocean and safety conditions. During the experience, you may see turtles, anemone fish, banner fish, trigger fish, blue surgeonfish, blue stripe snapper, butterfly fish, and other reef life.

Afternoon departure is usually around 14:00. The standard guide ratio is 1 guide for every 2 divers. A private guide may be available on request for an additional charge.
