Weather changes, delayed transfers and provider cancellations

Check provider updates, confirm any replacement arrangement, and review the provider’s policy for the affected service.

If weather affects your plans

Sea conditions, tides and weather can affect transfer departures, activity routes, zipline flights and outdoor events. Check messages from Dhombe.com and your provider, and follow the operator’s reporting and safety instructions.

If you have not received a change notice, contact the provider or support to confirm the arrangements before deciding to miss a departure or activity. A personal decision not to attend is different from a provider cancelling the service.

If a provider delays, changes or cancels a service

  1. Keep the update or cancellation notice and your booking reference.
  2. Ask what alternatives are available, such as a revised time, date or replacement arrangement.
  3. Check whether the proposed option changes the meeting point, inclusions or price, and obtain confirmation before relying on it.
  4. If you want a cancellation or refund, ask support to assess the affected service under the provider’s applicable refund policy.

Check the rest of your trip

A change to one service does not automatically change or refund separately booked accommodation, activities, events, transfers or flights. Allow time between island transfers and onward travel, and contact each affected provider promptly.

Tell support what changed

Email support@dhombe.com with your booking reference, affected service and date, the provider’s notice, any flight or transfer change, and your preferred alternative. Support can help coordinate the next steps. Keep written confirmation of any agreed change or approved refund.
